In an effort to retain our long-tenured customers, T-Mobileicon is launching two exclusive limited time offers to proactively thank customers for their loyalty by providing them with value they can't get anywhere else. By unexpectedly rewarding current customers with great savings, or the best value from their T-Mobile service, we give current customers another reason to stick with T-Mobile.
Beginning February 18, existing customers in the San Francisco market who meet eligibility requirements will be offered a $49.99 unlimited voice calling plan (text is not included but can be added at current prices). In addition to the $49.99 unlimited voice calling plan promotion, eligible existing customers who add-a-line and port-in a number to T-Mobile will receive a $135 bill credit.
Existing, eligible customers will receive notification of these promotions via e-mail, text message, and outbound calling beginning February 19.

Note: All lines on an account are eligible if any one line meets all of the above criteria. Loyal Customer Indicator in ICAM Qualifying customers will be identified in ICAM with a Loyal Customer indicator next to the billing name.

Loyal Customer Indicator Addition Process: Eligible customers who need to activate a second BAN (e.g. customer exceeds family plan line limit or wants two family plans) are still eligible on the new BAN. Sales representatives must request that Customer Service add the Loyal Customer indicator to any new BAN created for eligible customers.

Unlimited Loyalty Rate Plan Details - Special Actions Required
WATSON will only display these rate plans for eligible customers through the "Add to Existing Account" activation path.
Sales representatives should contact Customer Service to create a new account for eligible existing customers.
In some cases, it is not possible to avoid extending the contract on existing lines of service while still allowing customers to receive a subsidized handset. This occurs when converting a single line account with multiple lines to a family pooling plan. Sales representatives should select the appropriate contract term for the add-a-line based on the handset price customers choose. Sales representatives must then contact Customer Service to change the contract on the original line(s) to the original end date.
Customers who change to the No Annual Contract Unlimited Loyalty Family Plan from an existing family plan and add-a-line will retain the contract end dates on their current lines. If customers would like to add an additional line and pay full cost for the handset, sales representatives are required to activate the new line of service on a 1-year contract term and select no contract handset pricing in POS. Sales representatives must then contact Customer Service to change the contract term on the new line to the original end date.

    Rate Plan Migrations
These plans will not be available in ICAM. Customers can migrate to this plan at a Corporate Retail store or through Customer Service.
Migrations to the Unlimited Loyalty rate plan will not extend the customer's current contract term.
Customers who upgrade their handset will be bound to the selected contract renewal term for the upgrade.

$135 Loyalty Credit for Port-In Promotion Details
Eligible existing customers who add-a-line of postpaid service and port-in a number will receive a $135 bill credit.
The minimum monthly recurring charge (MRC) required is $9.99.
This is a great opportunity to encourage single line customers to port-in their landline number and save money with T-Mobile @Home.
Customers are not required to activate on the Unlimited Loyalty rate plan in order to receive the bill credit. Customers should be advised the bill credit will be automatically applied within one to two bill cycles. The bill credit will immediately impact the balance on the account 15 days after the port-in activation is complete. Although the bill credit will immediately impact the account balance, if customers are more than halfway through their bill cycle when they port-in the new line, it would take two bill cycles for customers to see the adjustment on their bill. Customers do not need to take any action to receive the bill credit. Eligible customers who need to activate a second BAN (e.g. customer exceeds family plan line limit or wants two family plans) are still eligible on the new BAN. Sales representatives must follow the Loyal Customer indicator addition process above to add the offer indicator to the new BAN.

Q: Why am I not eligible?
A: T-Mobile extends special promotions such as this as a thank you to existing customers who have demonstrated their loyalty to T-Mobile. At this time your account is not eligible for this particular promotion. However, you may be eligible for offerings or exciting promotions in the future.
Q: Can I switch to postpaid service to qualify for this offer?
A: The targeted group of customers who are eligible for this offer have already been identified based on the set criteria. Changing your service will not affect eligibility.
Q: Will I be eligible when I reach 22 months of tenure?
A: While we can't guarantee that this particular promotion will be available in the future, we continue to develop special offers to select customers.
Q: Why is my specific account not eligible even though I have 22 months on tenure?
A: The criteria that are set include more than just tenure. Customers may receive different offers based on their account type, such as Prepaid or FlexPay.
Today this rate plan is available only to select customers. T-Mobile runs promotional offers and test offers that are available to different groups of customers, and at this time, your account does not qualify.
In the future, your account may be eligible for similar type offers. For some of our test offers, whether these offers will be extended beyond the initial qualified group depends on the response from our customers.
Q: Why do I have to port-in to add-a-line to qualify for the $135 credit?
A: For this particular promotion, we're targeting only customers who switch from other carriers for this offer. We can verify that a customer is switching if they port-in a number.
    Support Line
In order to support these promotional offers, a support line will be available from 5 a.m. PT to 5 p.m. PT on February 18 and February 19. The call in number is 1-888-412-7808 and the access code is 3749351.
    Action Steps
Be sure not to offer either promotion to any new customers or customers who have not inquired about the offers.
Do not advertise or display collateral for these offers in your stores.
Verify customer eligibility in ICAM using the Loyal Customer indicator and ensure customers are not past due.
Check for the Loyal Customer indicator in ICAM for opportunities to discuss these offers with customers who may not yet know they are eligible.
Advise customers the Unlimited Loyalty rate plan includes voice calling only and does not include unlimited messaging or data.
Make sure you right fit customers to these rate plans and the messaging bundle that best meets their needs.
Call Customer Service using the Retail Support Line at 1-888-310-8369 to activate new lines of service for existing, eligible customers.
This is the latest info! This info is applicable for SANFRAN market only - certain details may (or may not) be applicable for nationwide launch of this rate plan.
