I wonder if they would go with the same model as TV's & other appliances/electronic's with a 1 fee for so many years coverage or are they going to go with the same model as now?

The one-fee model usually applies to extended warranties, not insurance. Insurance is mostly monthly-fee based. Although if I am not mistaken, SquareTrade offers one-fee insurance, and it gives you 3 full years. But it is much more expensive than their traditional extended warranty services.
