[QUOTE=YourDaddy 2005 will be a new year. So many things can change. Large companies who were successful in the past may see unforseen issues and companies who were previously unsuccessful may find their new nitch in the market. I don't care if my company is # 2 or # 3. As long as my service works that is the most important to me.[/QUOTE] I also agree with the satement about what # my carrier is, Give me the service where i need it & I would go with a mom & pop provider. As for 05, Yes i think it will be a very interesting year to see what plans & changes come from all these mergers. I keep hearing people say wait till Jan 05 for Cingular's new plans & I guess Cingular doesn't want to change anything until after the holidays to see how they are for them & once the holiday season is over then the battles may begin, especially now where Verizon is seeing pressure from in front of them & now behind, when they never had to worry about being in this position. |

No carrier is perfect for everyone, and like I said before I'm excited about the Sprint Nextel merger, just as I am about the Cingular At&t merger only because it is going to make Verizon poop or get off the pot. The main thing I see as a hindrance to Nextel and Sprint merger is neither company has a really strong customer service record....that is probably the weakest area of both of their operations, I'm assuming that they will look very hard about making this a high priority, they will have a tough time fighting churn during the merger if this isn't taken care of right. | |

In response to the title of this thread, I hereby declare that I now decide who is the largest carrier. Edge Wireless now has the crown for getting a signal into the bunker basement of the grocery store I was at the other day.

But if we are going to judge by the size of the phones, then we all know Nextel is by far the largest of all.
