CNET reports that Apple is manufacturing a phone now in Taiwan. November 16, 2006, says it is a GSM and will be unlocked with no subsidies from carriers. Says the manufacturer is Hon Hai, Foxconn. Will make 12 million. |

| I personally think they're not going to bother with iPhone. I'd expect them to want to use something closer to the iPod name. Possibly of note is that they dropped the iBook and replaced with the Macbook and the PowerBook was replaced with Macbook Pro.
