Yep, and it's so inaccurate for this area it's laughable, they show coverage where they know full well there is none, maybe it should be called "the map we WISH we had coverage like", signal on Laughlin Grade and in Laytonville

Well if that map is true, I hope the FCC takes Verizon's 800 licenses away. They don't cover crap according to that map. Verizon is not that spotty IMO, they are missing huge swaths of coverage in Delaware according to the map. Try out 19901 and check it out! They do have weak coverage at the beach which is rediculous (Sprint is bad as well), I wouldn't be surprised if T-Mobile beats them both there.

This tool is beneficial to see approximately where there is coverage (not just rate areas.) I'm sorry it didn't meet Mendocino standards.

Doesn't look that bad... I'm not exactly familiar with Deleware but I'm guessing perhaps they are areas where very few people reside/travel?

The coverage in Delaware doesn't look that bad to me. On some of the coast it looks weak and in the a couple of spots in the middle. Overall though it looks ok.

I'd imagine as small and rural as of a state you are in there is going to be no spots of coverage with any carrier you choose.

Well they are showing no coverage at the beaches, and no coverage on spots of the highway. That's simply not true. Coverage can be improved at the beach though, no excuse not to have good coverage there.

These maps are based on computer-generated RF propagation maps (which are really estimates) and may be off. I looked at the maps for my neck of the woods and in a few cases they're quite a bit off, either showing coverage where it's practically impossible to pick up any signal with anything except a yagi or showing no coverage where I know I can pick up something with just a phone with no problem.

Also, note that the maps do not show any coverage not included in AC, so if there is roaming (not VZW, not Extended Network) coverage in a given area it will NOT show up. There are some other problems with Extended Network too, like the new RCC/Unicel Extended Network coverage in Alabama not yet showing up and Richmond KY showing up as having no coverage when there's Extended Network coverage (SPCS) there. (Just because VZW prefers Ramcell and Bluegrass over SPCS doesn't mean that areas where Dobson and Cingular are the 850 carriers lost coverage provided by SPCS...SID 4148 is still in VZW's PRLs and will likely remain so until VZW gets native coverage in Richmond and elsewhere in KY covered by ex-Northcoast licenses.)

It shows extended network coverage? Just not all the digital coverage....

Also, I am somewhat disappointed with the detail of these maps. I was hoping they would provide something like what TMO has in stores.

Only zoom level 7-8-9 are available online. In the stores we can zoom MUCH more.
