Anyone else see them tonight during the baseball game? I thought they were pretty good. The first was a full 1 min spot, while the second just 30 seconds. The theme was more or less talking to people who arent there...The first one, a couple gets in a fight, later during the day while the wife is in a meeting, her husband walks in with a sign that says sorry, and she looks down at her phone and oh wait, its not a sign, just an sms. second one pretty much the same thing except for a businessman talking to his daughter after his flight delayed...

these i think are the best wireless commercials ive seen in quite some time...

All the wireless companies need better commercials. Maybe some porn-inspired theme with Ron Jeremy humpin' away at some college student and yelling "can you hear me now"

Seriously, most commercials these days are geared in a comedic perspective. It doesnt make me want to go out and purchase the latest car or cellphone. It just makes me laugh. And the fact that its a funny commercial doesnt have anything to do with whether or not its a good product. Still, the current commercials for all types of businesses are a lot funnier than most of the primetime garbage tv shows. Its pretty bad when commercials are funnier than the shows.

With Verizon, Sprint and all the other carriers, they strayed away from explaining the benefits of their services. Sure, verizon mentions the worry free guarantee, but for the most part, its just that guy running around saying "can you hear me now?".... in a subliminal way its saying "we have good coverage" but the majority of the nation most likely wont catch onto that message the way they are supposed to.

as for nissan..... drive, shift, accelerate, downshift, brake, turn, fart.. whatever.
yeah, no cr@p, thats what you do in a car, but what about the car? why should i even so much as call nissan and ask about it? they give me no reason. (of course, when i see a commercial for Porsche, it doesnt matter what they do, i'm sold... minus all the money required to get one)

if ALL manufacturers would spend less time trying to impress us with crazy commercials, they would spend a lot less money advertising and in turn cut costs on their products. they need to advertise, but sometimes its a bit too much..

i'm sure most of you will disagree with my outlook on this, but that ok... fire away...

Word of mouth is the way to go!
Transfer part of the ad fund to network enhancements. You will have an even better network instead of current customers complaining of dead spots. If you have dead spots, the customersare less likely to recommend your service to others. If you are at or near perfect, your customers will recommend it to others and the exponential thing kicks in.
But that's just me. I'm sure the execs like the guy running around saying "can you hear me now?" self-proclaiming their network as 'best', better than improving their network further.

Yes i saw the commercial and also thought it was cool, They have been advertising a lot lately around here and every couple of weeks they seem to change. I think things will get interesting in the next couple of weeks and months with LNP.

well said.. word of mouth is still the best advertising. i usually dont make major purchases until reading reviews or hearing what others say about certain products first. i've learned the hard way by purchasing a certain (un-named brand of laptop/notebook) and found out it was total junk. got it for the screen clarity which was good, but the OS sux. should have known from dealing with them in the past. i'll stick to building my own from now on.

while i'm on the word-of-mouth subject, has anyone driven the dodge srt-4?
