They did good. Just about in line with the rest of the carriers. But they didn't do much better than the rest as they had been doing in past quarters. How many customers do they have now? I can't wait until they take over Nextel...

Rounding off, TM has 11.4M customers, Nextel 11.6M. TM was trying to reduce costs...they have definitely advertised less recently. But they said they will add another 1.5M in the 2nd half, so they should pass Nextel this year. They needed to make a strong move towards profitablity, and they did. The Net Loss is down from 239M to 129M sequentially, so they may make a small profit in 3Q. I was glad to see they spent all their capital on network improvements. A great move in advance of WLNP.

TM had mentioned in their 2002 annual report that they intended to spend most of their capital expenditures in 2003 on improvements of the existing network.

No doubt Nextel will be passed up in the second half... with Nextel FINALLY having some competition from VZW and Sprint (at least) this year it will really hender their customer additions.
