Here's a graph showing quarterly growth for the top 3 in 2005. Of course, Sprint's results show proforma totals (combined with Nextel) all through 2005.

And btw, some of the more recent moves of VZW I do not agree with, but looking at these numbers they are quite impressive! | |

Nextel Partners adds 2M more to Sprint totals. So that will bring them to 49.6M. If you look at their conference call information they added Nextel Partners to their total in the Powerpoint presentation, but they did not include them in the press release.

The question of churn depends on these With Sprint SMR "NEXTEL" customer convert to Sprint PCS over time and not look some place else for new service. With VZW making most networks to do both Cellular/PCS can they start adding lots of towers to keep the "were #1 in network quality" statement alive?? Will Alltel become a real competitor in most metro markets. Cingular network integration is doing well. In the metro that have been integration has been trumping Verizon #1 spot in network quality. Will T-Mobile be able to build more towers than the competition and keep prices down with all this new roaming. |

I just hope as the competition gets closer to Cingular, they'll give us better Data prices. In particular texts..
