I bet you can fit the entire state of CT into Mendocino Co. Frankly, if you ever come to the East, you'll be surprised how you can go through 5 states in 5 hours or less (MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ) on I-95.

Yeah, I know, I have taken Amtrak several times between Philly and DC, states just whizz by at 125-150 mph on the Acela

Nope, not too many in this particular area, lots of Vineyards though, this is wine country. As far as animals, well, we have Deer, Bear, Elk, Squirrels, Chipmunks, and tons of different kinds of birds.
