My personal opinion is this is a little more "big brother" than regular fleet tracking of vehicles.

I've been selling wireless vehicle tracking for over six years, but I myself would not want my sales manager to have the ability to track my phone day...or NIGHT. A company owned car is one thing, but me personally there is a big line in the sand on that one.

Right, just what we need, more Big Brother watching us, it's bad enough the Goverment is tracking us more & more, now work is going to start doing that. We are all loosing our freedoms little by little, and hopefully a business won't be tracking there workers day & night that's pushing it a little too much.

So none of you have ONSTAR? There's a cellular antenna on the vehicle for a reason, and Onstar can track you, open your doors, lock your car, or tell the police where you are or where you have been recently.http://forums.wirelessadvisor.com/ne...reply&p=90153#

Not me, but when I read the manual for my new van it say's it may have a black box that only insurance or Ford investigators can access for information on the moments before a crash. I don't want On Star or any other device keeping track of my every movements & if they start it on the cell phones, or at the fire dept. guess I will go back to pay phones (if I can find any) or people will have to wait to talk to me, and find a way to disable the thing.
