| Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.1; U; en-us) AppleWebKit/413 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/413 es70) From what you described, it sounds like you have a bad connection to antenna of the internal miniPCI WiFi card. It can be a little tricky to get those UF/L connectors to snap on correctly. The card & antenna cable should be accessable on the bottom of most laptops. |

Are you sure you're using WiFi on your phones and not VZW's network instead? WiFi is a very limited range wireless technology that make use of the unlicensed 2.4GHz band. There are no WiFi towers. You would normally access WiFi through a WiFi router/access point that is connected to your cable or DSL modem or through publicly available WiFi hotspots. I only know that my laptop doesn't seem to find any available networks and the pda phone would be switched on wifi on the side of the htc mogul 6800 or on the 6700 wifi enabled phones and left on charger all night and came back the next morning and there were atleast 4 names of the availalable wifi networks found but the only time i seen this laptop find a network was in another location where my friends house was a hot spot one time i noticed a network found a few weeks ago but i don't know where i or how i could have picked it up it could not have been found no longer a week before i realized it i havn't had this laptop in any other locations so i don't really understand why the phones will locate a signal and the laptop will not . my wifi is a wiless G pci card 80211.g Linksys, A Division of Cisco Systems, Inc. it has the correct, latest drivers installed |

I second the previous recommendation. You need to check the connection of the laptop's internal antennas to the mini-PCI WfFi card. That's why it's relatively "deaf". COtech
