I just recently switched providers from Cingular(AT&T) to a local regional carrier NEP (due to moving). I am using the same phone, a Nokia N73, and everytime I get a voicemail I get my normal phone notification that there is a voicemail, but I also get a text message from the number 2222222222 that just says "Message #23". I also get another one of these texts after I check my messages. I called NEP and asked about it and they said that they have been trying to figure out why this happens. They stated that it only happens to higher end phones. But as of yet, they have no fix. I'm just curious if there are other folks out there that have seen this and if anyone has any more information on what might be causing it. Thanks for any info! Mike Grabowski |
