Default New Sprint tower in Lake Elsinore, CA

This one (at right in picture next to Verizon tower) is brand new and is overlooking historic Lake Elsinore and has a very good line of sight for 2-3 miles.

Very nice. It's funny though. But with how much those "trees" look out of place, why not just put up normal towers & save a few $$$.

Actually the Verizon tower on the left used to be a normal tower. About a year ago they changed it out to a tree for some reason even though it had been there for years prior. I have no idea what happened with that. Sprint had to make theirs a tree as well so the two of them would match.

I see, very interesting. I wonder if the proposal of the new Sprint site caused Verizon to cover up their exsisting tower. Which cause Sprint to do the same to get the tower approved by the city?

It's possible but I think that the Verizon one was disguised even before Sprint's application came up.
