Well Fathead got an IS-95 signal, my Friend who went to Vernal Area a year ago got a 1x signal from what he told me...I guess my friend got something wrong then. WW/Cell One is 1x in Price/Moab area, I've used their 1x network there so I'd think they'd be 1x everywhere by now.

Well I'll be heading down to the Moab/Green River/Canyon Lands Area later today and will report back with coverage when I get back. Take care everyone, Andy |

hope things are better down there now, but my guess is Verizon does not do much with old Commnet Cellular networks.

Short reply(long one to follow soon, but not tonight, I'm tired As expected, Sprint PCS does NOT have any coverage along I-70, nothing in Green River, nothing in Moab. Western Wireless/Cellular One still runs their CDMA network on 1739 in the area, although Bill said one of their engineers told him that Price/U.S.6 and Moab Areas were on SID 1741 now. Verizon was good, they do a hell of a job booming the signal into Grand County where they have no license, and coverage is often better and broader than the coverage locator says. More to follow.... Goodnight |
