My fiance and I were at a wedding for a couple of our friends last night out in Mesa around the 202 and Val Vista. We talked on the way back last night and had great reception from the 202 at Val Vista West to the 101 North. Then all the way through Scottsdale North on the 101 to Cactus and over to Tatum where we live. We also talk in the mornings while I travel to work on the 51 North from Cactus to the 101 West out towards Glendale at 79th Ave and Union Hills. Basically what I have noticed while travelling on the freeways here in Phoenix with Cingular is that the reception is great. There aren't any areas where we have had problems with service, and we have been very happy! |

I have glad to hear that azcellphonejunkie. On a side note, Verizon fixed the problem this week and now Verizon works 100% in my neighborhood and in my house. I get between -84 to -92 db's in my house depending on where I am.

I always get good coverage when I travel through Phoenix to get to the airport (mainly on I17 the whole time). Good to hear it's this way through the rest of the city! Last time I lived in Phoenix (Thunderbird & I17) I had Cricket so I can't compare the past.

| AZ, I have been suprised also how well the coverage is and have been happy with the new Cingular. It has worked in the same places I frequent Verizon does. RH |

The Phoenix metro area seems to be a well covered area by most providers. There's not many hills and tall buildings to get in the way like there is in other major cities.
