Default VZW in Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park?

We will be vacationing in July - staying in Estes Park and enjoying the park. I assume up into the park, cell coverage is pretty poor but can anyone tell me about VZW's coverage in and around Estes Park?

How about from the airport in Denver to Estes Park?

Thanks!

Nic,
Coverage is excellent in town. There is a short stretch of poor coverage on the roads leading in/out of town, but then 100% coverage to the airport.

Entering into the park, Verizon covers the farthest beyond the entrance, then gets spotty as you drive around the mountains. However, when you get near the top, coverage comes back because you are so high. With a tri-mode phone you'll have slightly more coverage.

Continue to the west end of the park and excellent VZW coverage returns. By choosing your trails and sites carefully, you can have service most of the time. You could be staying in one of those tiny cabins right on the river deep in the canyon that do not have good coverage, but most do.
