I searched the google but was unable to find any information about authorized dealer commission. So I come to this site for help. Anyone know how much does the dealer gets for commission? I heard from my friend that the dealer gets $400 something for one line and for an additional line they get $200 more. For example if I were to get 4 lines and I take the $69.99 plan which is one line and additional line is $9.99. 4 lines - $70+10+10+10= $100 x 12 months = $1200 the customer need to pay + taxes. If the dealer gets $400 for one line and $200 for additional line then for 4 lines $400+200+200+200= $1000 commission to the dealer. How can Cingular afford for this? $1200 -1000 = $200 in profit. Can some help to clarify this? thanks |

When I left my company, Verizon was paying us(all for 2 years, subtract $30 to get the 1 year contract) $290.00 for a 50.00 or higher per month plan $260.00 for a 40.00 or higher per month plan $230.00 for a 30.00 or higher per month plan $190.00 for anything lower than 30.00

At the Authorized Nextel Dealer I was working at, the base salary was your quota for the month. For example, the base salary that was given to all Nextel reps was $1000 per month. In order to stay on a Salary plus commission structure, you had to sell at least 19 phones per month to make sure the company broke even for you. Take the $1000 per month salary, divided by 19 phones, and the dealer gets about $59 per Nextel activation. Not nearly as much as the ones above. Figure too that the employee would only get a percentage of each activation... |

Family plan paid just the price of each indvidual line. So a 39.99 line plus 20 was a 230 and 190. Bear in mind that the price of the phone would come out of the profit.
