Hello all! New member to the forum here. I was wondering if anyone who has camped recently in Mammoth, CA could help me out. My boyfriend and I are going camping in the Mammoth Lakes area and I am very much hoping that my cell phone will work, enough for me to at least send a few text messages over the 4 days we are gone. I have AT&T service. My bf told me that we are going to a campsite that has showers, and apparently there are hotels/restaurants nearby...so I'm hoping we might be getting SOME reception. Thank you very much in advance for any help you can share with me. |

I'm pretty sure that all the major carriers have coverage around Mammoth now including AT&T. But because of the terrain it's a difficult area to cover completety so just hope you get lucky.

Thanks! I went to AT&T's website and looked at their coverage map - it's really going to depend where we end up, but I'm confident I'll get service at least a little bit of the time.

Alltel has GSM on its towers that att users can roam on. If your going to Reds Meadow you may not have anything but the front of the mtn is well covered.
