After much debate I finally picked up a cell phone. I thought sence this is my first i would start with a prepaid so in case i hate it i wouldnt be stuck with it till the contract runs out. The Phone i got is a Audiovox CDMA 9000 with Air Voice Express Prepaid Service(though it does say Verizon on the phone and on the LCD screen as the start up screen). Only problem is the box that the phone came in did not come with a user's manual and I do not now where to find one so i figure out how to operate it. If someone who owns a version like mine and has a copy of the manual and can turn into a pdf and email it to me, or can direct me to a site where I can download it I'd be for ever greatful.

the image of the phone in the manual and the one i have do not match mine is neither a flip phone nor does it have a color LCD screen. I should of said the only things that links this phone to air voice are: 1) It came in an Air Voice Package 2) It used an Air Voice Pre-Paid Cell Phone Card to activate Other than that the name underneath the LCD faceplate reads Verizon and when you start it up it shows the Verizon logo as the start-up screen. I have looked on the internet the phone I own is a CDM9000 not the CDM8900 |

I never cracked the user guide for any of my phones. If you just play around with it for an hour you will figure out all the features and it is better than reading it from a manual. If you just read how to use different features you won't remember how you did things. Get into the menu and see what the phone offers. Figure out how to do important things such as adding contacts. Just get yourself started. This might help. http://www.cellphones.ca/upload/manu...ox_cdm9000.pdf I hope your phone came with the wrist strap! Good luck. |

If you purchased it at a kiosk they can probably activate it right there if you bring it in. If this is not an option then activating the service by phone is probably the next best option. They will ask for the ESN which is probably on a sticker under the battery when you take it out.
