Well I am from Provo, Utah and I have Verizon Wireless. This last weekend I went to Wendover Nevada to go gamble some. Anyways I thought since I was going out there I would do my own criticing of the service. I went on I-80 west bound which is over by the boneville salt flats and let me tell you there is nothing out there. Anyways for the first part of the trip service was great. I hit a few analog areas not to many. I only had about 1 bar of the 1x signal most of the way. When I got to Wendover my service inproved a little. As soon as I got in the casino my phone went to extended network. I think that I was on sprints network I am not sure though. I had a 1800 signal so not sure which one that is. I found service out that way to be not to bad and I was not scared if I did need a phone. My friend on the other hand had t-mobile and her service was much better out that way. But I know that as soon as I got off the interstate a few miles hers would not have a chance. Anyways I hope this is good for my first review and I hope this might be of some help as well. |

Hey, Thanks for your first review; my parent went out there about two months ago and on the way back I talked to my Mom all the way(she has a Nokia 3589I) and we did not have any call quality problems. One time when she called me from the Hotel Room in Wendover she was on Verizon Analog, never on Extended Network. Again, thanks for the review, and yes, as soon as you take a T-Mobile phone off the freeway you're gone. |
