Cell phone coverage in Corvallis, OR

Hey guys,

I am wondering which cell phone service has the best coverage in Corvallis? I would like to get Sprint, but I need to know if the coverage is good! Thanks in advance for all of your help!

Verizon is the undisputed coverage king in this neck of the woods (Eugene, Corvallis, and surrounding environs).

I'm using Sprint mainly for cost reasons. It's worth checking to see if they can work for you. i.e. see www.sprint.com/sero and login with email address "savings@sprint.com" You can get a $30/month plan with 500 peak, unlimited off-peak at 7pm and free unlimited data from the handset, including for PDA phones. This deal really cannot be beat.

Sprint has dramatically improved their coverage maps, and although still sometimes inaccurate, are a good gage of service. Study their maps before ordering. Keep in mind all modern Sprint plans include free roaming (including on Verizon as needed). You simply need to keep the roaming below 50% of your total usage.

PS: None of the PDA phones get as good reception as the normal flip phones etc. The unlimited data is great though. Bear in mind SMS is separate, but the SERO plan also includes unlimited picture messaging.
