As the beach boys might say "Where is The Little Old Lady from Pasadena to fix the problem?"

That's in Pasadena, is it? Sounds more like South Pasadena to me.

And when will these people learn that the health complaint isn't legally permitted? The fire one was a new one on me, though.

For comparison with my lower-middle-class neighbourhood, a Cingular tower went up in the church steeple on Vanowen and Ethel with no protest at all... and another (Sprinticon) is set to go up on Vanowen and Fulton and there hasn't been a lot of noise about that either. People here have more pressing things to worry about, like feeding their families.
I can help you in English. Puedo ayudarle en español. Je peux vous aider en français. Posso aiutarli in italiano. Ich kann Sie auf Deutsch helfen. Я могу помочь вам по-русски.

Yep I found the Sprinticon site you mentioned on the map. It's going to be at 6749 N. Fulton Ave. It's site ID # LA70XC519 and is going to be CDMA only to start. There's also another planned near Vanowen & Laurel Canyon at 6746 Laurel Canyon.

Boy this woman and group make the people here in NJ seem like not even being NIMBY'ers. Just on the grounds of them being violent & yelling at the meetings, if I were on the board I would let it be built.
And it's only a 35' tower behind a cross, as for the fire concerns if they keep the brush off and away from any electrical wiring, panels or devices it won't be a problem, if there were an electrical short or blowout.

When locals pull out the fire issue it's normally a last ditch effort to block the tower. Their own homes built to 30 year old standards are more of a fire hazard than the new site.

And I thought San Marino, CA 91108 was tough. In recent years they have been more forthcoming with allowing Cingular to install cell sites. The Ritz Carlton in Pasadena, CA is home to a Cingular wireless site that gives coverage to the hillside homes

I agree, even some homes built 20 years ago are more of a fire hazard then a new tower. Especially the way people do things in their own homes.
