Is anyone familiar with Verizon coverage up near Glacier National Park, MT? Heading up there this weekend. Specifically, I will be staying at the Smoky Bear Ranch off of county road 486 10 miles north of Columbia Falls and 7 miles west of West Glacier. The Verizon website coverage locator shows coverage but sometimes that locator is not very accurate or precise. Thanks for any help that you can provide.

I suspect you'll have coverage either natively or roaming on Alltel. As long as you're not IN the park, it's decent for both carriers from Columbia Falls to West Glacier. If you're traveling into the City of Kalispell, Verizon kinda stinks in large parts of Kalispell (yet probably has the most customers because people preceive it as the best due to marketing!) but is strong enough your phone won't latch onto Alltel.
