Just got this offer in the mail in Southern California. $39.99 500 Anytime Minutes Unlimited Nights and Weekends 1000 Mobile to Mobile This is new right? My wife currently has the anytime 700 plan, 700 anytime minutes (unlimited NW, and 1000 MtM) for $49.99 With this terrible billing system in So Cal, is there any easy way to tell how many minutes of the 700 she is actually using? So I know if I could safely switch her to the 500? Rafael |

If that refers to thier Local DigitalChoice plan, then no it is not new. They usually advertise it as: $39.99 350 Anytime Minutes PLUS 150 Bonus Anytime Minutes Unlimited Nights & Weekends 1000 Mobile to Mobile $0.20 Long Distance This plan has been ongoing for a while now. It restricts you to Californa/Nevada area. If you like the plan, but want free Long Distance with Nationwide roaming, sign up for thier popular America's Choice plan, which is basically: $39.99 300 Anytime Minutes PLUS 100 Bonus Anytime Minutes Unlimited Nights & Weekends 1000 Mobile to Mobile FREE Long Distance And it also gives you the freedom to go anywhere and call from anywhere in the US. (Check thier website and maps to see everything in detail). EDIT: Oh I forgot to also mention that Southern California users will soon be able to check thier minutes sometime around May. However, when you check your current usage, it will be about 2 days behind, so its still not quite as accurate as the other systems. |

i work for the department that you sent you that letter. the reason you recieved it was that your usuage was such that you wernt traveling with your calling plan, and thats one of the things its designed to do. the phone number that is on the letter is meant for you to call so we caould make sure that this is the best plan for you. if its not we have other options. such as 300 min peak 1000 offpeak free roaming california nevada $5 option for free ld |

interesting. but with that plan i would lose 100 anytime minutes and 1000 mobile to mobile, although I gain $5 per month. i realize you can only say so much not know the exact details of my service and usage, but i still think the $39 americas choice is the best option for me. | |
