Default Any way to turn off analog support in verizons network (los angeles)

one area i spend a lot of time in verizon/my v60 can't decide if it wants to use analog or digital and
flipflops back and forth constantly.

when in:

Analog - i can hardly get a call out.
Digital - i get 3 bars and can make calls no problem.

Is there a network setting i should set in the phone to set this? I notice an "A" "B" mode.

thanks

edamon, First try the different settings (Auto A & B, Home Only) to see if the phone works better. I am not sure if your phone has this setting called "analog only" my v60i dose, if you do make sure it is turned off. If those two things do not work call costumer service, and tell them about your problem & where you are having the problems. But it really sounds like your phone is defective. All Verizon phones will allways search for a digital signal first. If it finds one it will hold on to that signal, even if it is weak. The only time it should go to analog is when there is no digital signal what so ever. Also try posting another thread at this site. But make it more detailed (list phone model, phone settings, area(s) that problem occurs, etc.), just do not list phone # or ESN # of phone. I hope this helps.
