Default AT&T Changing plans?

hi all. i recently went to sign up for an AT&T plan and such. The lady there said that as of February 8th that AT&T would change it's phone plan. She herself didn't know and i was wondering if anyone else knew because my current plan with a different company ends around the same time. I just do not know if this change will be for the better or worse just because i have no idea what those changes will be. so i guess i'm just wondering if anyone knows about such thing or if that lady was just bs'ing me. hah. thanks all.

Yeah, AT&T changes their promos every quarter. But I have no clue either as to what they will be. It could go either way. I probaly wont even find out till that day :/

To straddle the fence, find out from the retailer how many days for their return policy, then sign up for a contract where February 8 falls in that window.
Then if the new calling plans are better, you can cancel your old one without penalty and get a new one. If the new plan isn't for you, at least you're still under the old contract.

Horn,
The biggest change on February 8 is the scheduled end of the AT&T Charter GSM plan offer. Supposedly, it's your last chance to get Unlimited minutes for $100, which expire after a year and then become 1,500 minutes.

There has been some excitement with the Unlimited offer, and if they stop it, and the customers stop coming through the door, expect it to either be continued, or followed by something almost as big.
