Default What freq. for AT&T TDMA in Hawaii (O'ahu)?

My mother has a Nokia 5165 and I'm trying to buy an external antenna for her. It's a tri-mode phone so I'm not sure if it's using 800 or 1900. The antenna is for home so I'd prefer a stationary directional antenna. But they are frequency specific.

Anyone know what frequency AT&T is using for TDMA on O'ahu?

asatoran,
AT&T is using TDMA on 800 MHz on the islands. They also have 1900 MHz licenses there, but will probably limit those frequncies to their GSM network, for the time being.

Correct on all accounts. AT&T will also be taking over Cingular's Kaui coverage, so AT&T will now cover all 4 Major islands in Hawaii. Change over should occur mid to late 2003. GSM for AT&T will stay at 1900MHz for a while, they have tested GSM at 850MHz, but have not put it out to market yet, nor have I seen plans for them that I can find...
