Default Best service in Palm Springs area?

A friend is looking, and asked me -- but I don't live there!

A quick ask-around indicated that Sprint and Verizon are the preferred carriers. Anyone with much experience in the valley?

TIA

Default Best service in Palm Springs area?

I have used Verizon in Desert Hot Springs and Cabazon and didn't have any problems.

Default Best service in Palm Springs area?

Verizon has worked the best for me from Desert Hot Spring, Palm Springs, Salton Sea, down to around the 8 by the border, and west to San Bernadino.

Default Best service in Palm Springs area?

Brooke,
I used AT&T, Sprint and Verizon, in town and east & west from AZ to L.A. and all 3 performed flawlessly in all locations. I didn't get into any large buildings, but I rarely had less than full scale signal everywhere along the main roads.
