Default updating PRL?

I have verizonwireless and I just updated my PRL from 50113 to the new version 50203. My ERI version is the same from the start I activated it the ERI # is 50018. I know that verizon wireless has updated their coverage map and wanted to know if I did update my PRL would I get the updated coverage that they offer on their website or would I have to wait until I get my next billing date cycle? I know that the new map shows that IN calling is all over the AC map and wanted to know if that will take effect after I updated my PRL and to my next billing cycle? I know that I have unlmited IN network and just wanted to know if I will get the new IN calling map which I could call anyone from the new map shown? Should I never update my old verison of the PRL? Will it really increase the coverage? Also what does the ERI stand for and what does it do? Well hope to get the new IN calling soon after I get my billing.

You get the new coverage immediately.

Since you have an 'older' plan, you may need to re-up to get the new IN areas. However, your old IN will continue to work as before.

In your case updated your PRL is a wise thing to do. Just wait a week to make sure there are no bugs in it.

Enhanced Roaming Indicator. It uses words on the screen to show your roaming situar=tion instead of just an icon.

You can have it today, just ask if you need a new contract.

If Verizon releases a new PRL and coverage map where they added more extended network roaming then yes, it will increase coverage, even dramatically in some areas, but only if you update your PRL.
Bill Radio's Mountain Wireless PRL page shows you all the changes that every new PRL makes...Thanks Bill
