Sanyo 4920 vs. Sanyo 8200?

Hi there. I recently broke my Sanyo 8100 and had to replace it.

I started out with an 8200 but noticed in my apartment I only got 1 - 2 bars My about-to-fall-apart 8100 was consistently getting 3 - 4 bars. So I took back the 8200.

Now I have a Sanyo RL-4920. Same thing. Only 1 - 2 bars in my apartment.

Does anyone have opinions on these phones? I'm considering taking back the 4920 and just putting up with the 8200. Seems both have poor call quality and signal strength. But at least the 8200 looks less "old school".

BTW...when I asked about getting a Samsung every sales clerk I've talked with (and I've talked with quite a few) says that Sanyo's are better.

I just want a phone with good call quality and strong signal strength. I don't care about camera, video, or anything. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

As posted on the other thread don't worry about the signal bars. I would personally go with the 4920 since it has a slightly better sounding earpiece. But make sure you get the new software version for the 4920 because it fixes a key problem with the phone.
