I've tried the T720, the A310, the CDM-9500 and the VX10. I had the T720 a few weeks ago when I was in LA on business. My advise would be to try the VX10-- unfortunately it's overlooked a lot but is a great phone. To me, the important aspects of a phone are reception, battery life, and form/design. The T720 has good form/design, but the reception is horrible in low signal areas and it drops a lot of calls. The battery life isn't good and the phone has a lot of software issues. However it has a nice color screen and a lot of downloadable Get It Now apps. The A310 was a pretty good phone. I didn't care for the ring tones much and it's not BREW/Get It Now compatible. The reception is good and the form/design is comfortable. The CDM-9500 has a very sharp color screen with lots of features, but that's about it. The battery life is horrible -- 95 minutes of talk time at best. I usually got around 45. The reception was excellent but with such limited talk time it wasn't worth it to me. Also the phone is kind of big for a flip phone and it isn't very comfortable against your ear and the volume at max level in your ear isn't very loud. Hard to hear in cars or at sporting events. Also the design could be better-- the phone feels flimsy and would probably break if dropped on a hard surface. Now I'm trying the LG-VX10 and I really like it. It's 3G compatible with Get It Now and also has great battery life and excellent reception. The speaker volume can also be turned up louder than those other phones so you can still hear the other person in noisey places. The phone is comfortable to use and has a nice compact design. So far no software issues or dropped calls. I say two thumbs up for the VX10! Hope this helps...

Thanks for your input. I have the lg510 now and the reception and volume are great but the menu is hard to manuver and the phone book is a pain. Doesn't alphabetize when scrolling. Did they solve these issues on the vx? Also, does it have voice activation, I think that's a feature that I like and is missing on the vx. My fiance has the v60 and the menu is great on that phone. Is there a such thing as the perfect phone out there?! The a310 was good you say with the exception that you didn't care for the ring tones? I really want a speakerphone, I hope that they become more popular with future phones!
