Are there any other web sites other than this one and Howardforums, where there are discussions about wireless providers and cell phones?

Broni,
Yes! Probably the best is Usenet. If your ISP doesn't supply access to Usenet, you can access the cellular groups at:
Phone Scoop News Groups

Let's not forget Google's newsgroup access, as well..

Google is nice because you can search through old posts but phonescoop.com is more up to date with posts. Google usually lags behind by 3 or 4 hours.

And there are several Yahoo cellular forums as well, some groups are much more active than others.

I didn't know that google had such a bad lag time... I wonder if it's a propagation issue... maybe their spool doesn't fill all that fast? Or do they index all the posts then release them into search queries? :-P

The lag time on google seems to be getting worse. Sometimes it takes 5 hours+ for my post to appear. On Phonescoop.com my posts usually appear within 5 minutes.

Google's newsgroup servers must not be fetching new articles from the various other NNTP servers on a very regular basis... Generally speaking, when you post to one server, it's stored there and then propagated via nntp to any other news servers on the internet. Some ISP's have set their servers to "spool" only once every few hours to save bandwith.... others spool on a constant basis, so that may be the problem. It's rather late so I can't remember the exact term for how usenet works, as far as the term for servers connecting to one another and transferring posts..
