Irvine AT&T

My friend has AT&T in UCI and he can't get any siginal. Does anyone know how AT&T is in Irvine?

where in UCI can't he get a signal? UCI's a pretty big area u know. I've had AT&T for a year as a student @Irvine and the signal is pretty good overall. I usually get three to four bars (max) in most places. The only places where the signal was weak was in the buildings (which is expected) or at my apartment, but most people didn't get any reception over there regardless of what service they had. Overall, I would recommend it.

opps sorry about the above post...newbie...anyways to share my experience with ATT GSM at UCI is that it changes to Cingular when I'm in CV and goes back and forth from that and ATT. And really bad reception in building but useable anywhere outside of buildings.

I get 2 or 3 bars on GSM and usually more on TDMA pretty much all over campus with 4-5 bars at the turnabout in front of admin.
