Default T-Mobile Hollywood/W.Hollywood update

Hi all,

I have written recently about how pathetic the T-Mobile coverage is in the Hollywood/West Hollywood area. I was getting "no service" or "Emergency Only" on my Samsung R225m phone while driving on most of Beverly Blvd and all of LaBrea Blvd.

I decided to switch phones to see if it would help. I tried a Motorola v60. That did the trick! The phone typically as 3 to 5 bars (out of 5), and has reasonably consistent coverage throughout the area. Even in places where my Verizon v60c does not, like the place where I live (north of Hollywood Blvd.).

I have been told by a couple T-Mobile employees that they very often have problems with the R225m. They said that the R225m was returned all the time. If that phone is such a poor performer, why would T-Moble even bother selling it? It simply makes their service seem terrible.

Thanks,
Tim in Hollywood

i agree. same thing with sprint and the LG1010........it too is a horrible performer. T-Mobile and Sprint should both do something when a manufacturer puts out a doozy.

Hey how does that Samsung 240 perform? I played around with it the other day and it looks like a piece of junk. The LG 4NE1 also looks like junk.
