Why does verizon charge for mobile web on their phones, but NOT for quick 2 net? Is it because of the conveneince factor?

Sorry. My post was not very clear. Why do they charge you additonally to connect to the internet using the browser ON your phone, but NOT to connect using a cable connecting your phone to a PDA?

because when you browse on the pda you are just using your phone to call a number, not to go thru your wireless providers internet servers.

But doesn't verizon's Quick 2 Net service go through their servers? It's opening up a connection through them without dialing in to an ISP
