Ok, hes the deal. I have the t-28 world phone. now I know how to send "sms" messages but can i send an e-mail from this phone to my hotmail account. I have tried to but I don't know how to do it. I also have bought the chat board if thats helpful. Right now the only way I can send an e-mail to my hotmail account is if some one e-mail's me from their computer and I reply to it. If it is possible I would despritly use it!

I use a DI-28 infra-red modem attached to my t28 with my palm pilot to send email. I aim the palm at the modem, get it to dial my ISP, and surf the web or download my email.

I had to get a "data" connection from cingular, which is 5 bucks a month and ¢15 a minute, but now I could also fax if I wanted to.

Not sure if that really answers your question, but there you go.

Hey PopGun. For a dollar more you can get GPRS. It'll be ten times faster than what you have now and you get 1meg and 100 text messages a month. NO airtime charges!!
It's worth it to get the GPRS phone now rather than waiting.. Even the T61 is basically the same phone as the T39. The 68i won't be available for another month. Right now Cingular sells the T68m.

I'll find out about the T28w for you but I'm fairly confident that this phone is NOT a WAP phone.

Ok, I like to think I'm a Voicestream expert and here's what you have to do. Follow these instruction exactly:

1. Go into where you type your messages, start with a blank screen.
2. Type in the email address that you want to send the email to.
3. Put a space after that.
4. Type in the subject of the email.
5. Put a space after that.
6. Type the message.
7. For the number that the phone asks for, enter 500.

another question, i am going to europe in a week. will that "500" number work across the seas to the us or do i have to add something to it. also I have activated the international calling by "t-mobile" if thats helps. get back to me on that......................

Hmmm, I will have to check on that and let you know as soon as I find out, but I think it should be the same. In fact, I'm pretty sure it will be the same, but I will check to make sure.

Ok, I talked to a customer service rep and he told me that it should be the same format there in Europe, as if you were here in the U.S.
