Im switching to Verizon soon and i wanna know if verizon is coming out with new phones this july or august . Any recommended websites for this ?? By the way cingular sucks !!

I have just been lucky enough to attend some verizon training. The phones that are comming out for Verizon in the third and fourth quarter of this year will blow away what has previosly been available. Phones with 64K colors will soon be available. The days of Verizon having the best service with plain phones are over. Verizon will be a leader in all voice and data aplications in the future.

i hope they do. unfortunately i hope they get a bit better than the z-800.........for $399 bucks no external LCD and its not even 1x ready.....and it gets hot after 15 minutes of use......tsk tsk

The Z-800 is kind of a Frankenstein phone. It's branded Verizon, but the components are made by Sharp, and the phone uses an Audiovox charging port. Yes, lack of an external LCD was a bad decision. But a lot of phones heat up from 15 minutes of constant use. If I was going to be on the phone that long I'd wear a headset anyway. The Z-800 is super cool otherwise, but you're right it's expensive.

it is cool.....but its overpriced.....they should get better though as verizon gets used to having nice phones.....the v60 was way overpriced too
