Anonymous, Verizon has an expiration date on 6/30/2002 on it's current (Digital Choice) promotional plans. On 7/1/2002 they will either be extended or replaced, depending on how well they did. The decision will be made a few days before that. You might find a posting here from a Verizon 'insider' on the 27th or 28th about what may be coming. -Bill Radio |

Hey Bill. Does that mean I should wait and see if they plans get better if not just swoop in at the last minute and buy their plan? Do you know anywhere else plan that is almost expiring? thanks.

I haven't heard of any plan like that for Sprint PCS although I hope it's true that would be a really good deal, especially with the crappy rate plans that they have now. Larry? You know anything about any new rate plans coming out for Sprint PCS soon.

Anonymous, Some people see a new plan, and it fits their usage, PERFECTLY. They are smart to jump on it. Not because there won't be another promotional plan, but because the next one may not include all the same features. If there isn't a plan today that really blows up your skirt, then wait. Conversely, if you are troubled by entering into another 1-year contract, then the sooner you jump in on a promotion, the sooner you will arrive at the end of the contract. You can change your promotion if something better comes along. I changed twice last year. Over the last 2 years of Verizon's existence, the promo plans consistantly get better as the year goes on, ending with the best plans around Christmas. -Bill Radio |

Ok. I just went into the SPrint PCS store and it is 1000 anytime minutes and 3000 nights and weekends minutes. It is true! I didn't have time to check into the plan because I had to go to work. But it is true!

| << Is that with long distance included Jack >> I'm sorry I didn't check; I had to go work soon there-after. I went to CUrcit City and they didnt have the sprint promo. Would they still give me that 1000 anytime minutes for the same price that the sprint dealer would have? Thanks |

I'm from Stockton. Maybe different regions different calling plans? I don't know. I just know The Sprint PCS store near the mall here had 1000 free minutes.

That's what I thought Jack. Maybe if this plan is real its a special in store plan only for a limited time, I know SunCom has a really great plan right now that they only list in the paper and in the stores. They do NOT advertise it on the internet, maybe this is something similiar to that. |

It might seem a little odd that Sprint does not have the plan on their webpage or in the store when you went to it. But I assure you its 100% true.

The Unlimited N&W/Mobile Web for $5 has been extended, but haven't heard anything about the 4000 N&W being extended, so your only option for off-preak minutes might be the $5. And also I think the Anytime Plans have been extended too. The Anytime Plans are a great deal...

^ Kind of a nosy question. How much are the employee plans with Verizon? I want to work there (and maybe another company) when I go to college so I can have money and cheap service. Thanks!

I pay $12.50 for 500 anytime minutes, unlimited N&W, free nationwide LD. Employee plans are on the America's Choice network, so you have to pay if you're roaming.

^ That's a good deal. There is also a Sprint store near the University of Delaware, I wonder how their employee plans are. I'd rather work for Verizon since I really think they are the best carrier around here.
