Well, they are just test launching before they move it into the more populated regions of the east coast. Most services start out in the west first.

hey rich you arent on here as much as u used to be.......how u likin your spcs service? i think they may be testing 3g around here and other areas because for the last couple weeks for myself and many other posters in other areas the signal strength, dropped calls have all been quite bad and this all happened suddenly from having top notch service for the last year+ so we are thinking they are testing things out. |

Hey IdiOTeQnoLogY, Thanks for noticing.... Well, I've been traveling quite extensively last few weeks... Rocky Point, Mexico...San Fran, CA and beautiful South Beach, Miami. Believe it or not..but, my next stop is my condo in Wildwood, NJ...they don't call it "Wild"wood for nothing. Well, I'm sure you know....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] As for my service with Sprint...EXCELLENT, haven't had any service problems, dropped calls..ect. By far Sprint is one of the best in Arizona, unfortunately I didn't bring my Sprint phone with me on this excursion. Only my Nextel and Verizon, Nextel for our construction company in south, NJ (So I can Direct Connect) and Verizon Because of their roaming agreements while I'm abroad. Right now I'm still in Miami, as for service here Nextel seems to be alittle stronger indoors then Verizon. Sometimes my Verizon phone will be roaming off Sprint PCS while I'm in a club or hotel or resturant, and my Verizon phone will say "1x ready" when roaming with Sprint too, so I guess their 3G service is online in Miami also.

Yeah! Enjoy the beaches of Miami!!! You hanging out at South Beach all night? What a collection of beautiful gorgeous tight a** babes. Too many "chicas bonitas" to look at and drool over. I can't believe you're checking out your cellphones in the clubs and bars of Miami??? A lot of damn nice looking chicks sunbathing topless too on the sands of South Beach. |

Kenny, I guess that's what happens when you've been there as much as me!!! Besides, this was also a business trip too...I own a couple of restaurants and other businesses in that area. It's not like I'm in a club dancing and yelling "Can you here me now???"..Good!!!! Oh yeah, if you really want to party and see the "Bonita chicas" ...Go to Mexico, it will make Miami feel like a small birthday party. |

Yeah Cancun and Acapulco (Mexico) are fun and wild party spots. It's a different atmosphere though...Cancun and Acapulco are full of drunken American 18-22 year olds and turn Hotels into Frat-like parties. South Beach Miami is like a sexy beach version of Beverley Hills... I need to check out Gloria Estafan's Bongo's Bar/Club. Rich, any particular spot you like to relax and hang out in South Beach? I like sitting outdoors over by the Clevelander club (right outdoors on Ocean Dr) -- enjoying a "miami-vice" drink, the latin-beat and all the women walking by with tight short skirts and tantalizing curves. I must admit, I've taken a sneak peak on my AT&T phone before to see how good of a signal I have. By the way, I have noticed that AT&T has improved service there...at the airport and over in South Beach. 3 years ago I had some signal problems with AT&T over by Collins Ave - in many spots somewhere between 7th and 18th. But I've noticed that in the past year that the coverage has improved. |

Hey Kenny, I guess you were referring to Mango's... I'm in there all the time. Last time I was in there I bought the whole club a shot of tequila, I must have been pretty "sauced"....I can't wait to see my American express bill[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] Gloria Estafan no longer owns Mango's, she sold it about 3 or4 years ago. Now, a group of private investors own it...but, she will show her face in there every now and then. That's probably my favorite place to hang out, there and Tantra. |

Bongo's Cuban Cafe is located next to Bayside, right by the American Airlines arena. Yeah I've been to Mango's a number of times. You bought the whole club a shot of tequila? Sheesh, that place can be pretty packed. Yes that is an all time favorite hang out spot for the latin music and the latin beauties that work there...waitresses and dancers. Be careful for those who bring their girlfriends or wives -- you may get slapped depending on how much you stare and drool. Wouldn't it be funny now to see the Verizon Wireless guy in a commercial standing in front of Mango's and yelling over the beat of the music "CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?" |
