Default VZW with MSN means better mobile web

VZW just announced that it has sparked an partnership with MSN.

MSN will create the portal for VZW's mobile web. So now customers can do more with their web enabled browsers. If you have an hotmail account or MSN messenger then you'll be able to use it on your phone.

Just a few days ago, they released Express Network. This allows you to get close to DSL/Cable download speeds on your phone which you can hook up to your laptop, pda or other devices..

Express Network speeds are nowhere close to DSL or Cable; more along the lines of ISDN or twice the speed of a 56K modem. But at least it's launched!

Yeah finally it's launched, but it still isn't Nationwide like everyone elses is. When I say everyone else, I am refering to Sprint PCS and Voicestream Wireless. They both have their 2.5G approach in full effect.

Well actually, Sprint PCS isn't Nationwide yet, but their network is ready, and all it will take is the flick of a switch for them to turn it on Nationwide. I beleive that is suppose to happen in June.

Isn't there a charge to use the MSN instant messaging on Verizon?
