Default ATTN: Larry the "Sprint Guy" - Coverage question

Hi. I asked you this same question some six months ago, but because Sprint has supposedly been doing major work on its LA-area network I thought I'd ask again.

Do you happen to know how many Sprint towers there are in the San Pedro, CA area? And are they adding any new ones? Thanks!

Sprintsites.com wasn't very helpful in this regard, I'm afraid.

Sorry not too familar with San Pedro. Don't get up quite that far. I know they added a new one in 2001 there but can't remember exactly where. The last time I was there in 2000 coverage seemed pretty good to me and in Long Beach coverage is excellent just about everywhere now. If I find out anything else I'll let you know.

You can't go by sprintsitesusa.com as they only have one tower listed in Long Beach when Sprint has at least 20-30 sites there. It only gives a partial listing of sites that are being offered for co-location purposes.

Thanks anyway. San Pedro is not really one of the best-covered areas by any cellular provider...

San Pedro is a tough area to cover. There just aren't too many suitable locations to place towers. Zoning is very difficult.

SPCS offers good coverage in most of these areas?
