Default ATT Installing GSM in N. L.A. & S. Vent. Co.???

I live in Thousand Oaks, CA (South Ventura County / LA & Ventura Co line). Last night (April 15), from 9:30pm-sometime after 1am since I went to bed, my 3360 went from having 3-4 bars of signal (as usual) to "no service" or "ROAM" with a very weak signal. My phone is back to normal this morning. Is this a sign that there may have been GSM installation going on???? Anyone have a similar experience happen to them??

Anyone live around this area have a similar experience???

AT&T has been adding GSM equipment along side their TDMA cell sites. This has been going on for a while now here in Los Angeles.

Also, fluctuation in signal as represented by the bars on your phone, are quite common, even when standing stationary in one place. Various reasons this happens, not just that the network is being tested/upgraded. I seen this "symptom" in board daylight.
