Verizon just released new plans that give free roaming any where on their network plus night & weekend min. 300 anytime min only 35 dollars a month much better then at&t or sprint. All I can say is that it's about time that they came out with some national plans with night and weekend min. If that is not good enough you can purchase 1,000 national mtm min. And the Motorola V60 as drop from $400 to $300.

The new national plan is great as long as you plan on using your phone anywere in the new national footprint. Jack

Unless they have not finished upsdating their web site they got rid of the regional plan and the old national plan (the call anywere from anywhere) If this is true this could hurt verizon (my personal opinion) Some people want to know as long as they are in a certin area there will not be long distance and roaming Jack

it still doesn't really compare to Voicestream, although Voicestream offers no night time minutes..its a pretty good deal for those who travel mainly to major cities (like most of us do).

In reference to the single rate national price plans, they will still offer them the only ones that they will phase out the Single Rate West plans. But there should be more to come on that and the new Americas choice price plans. (So far) has beaten out any other carrier in coverage and price.

Well Apoc, I don't see the national single rate plans anymore on there website. When I enter my zipcode and look at pricing plans for my area I see America's Choice, America's Choice Family SharePlan, Local Digital Choice, and Local Digital Choice Family SharePlan. The regional and national single rate plans from there website are gone now.

Erub, the America's Choice plan does include major cities and little towns, unlike other carriers. EX: Sprint, Voicestream and AT&T. Compare the maps and it will make you laugh at all the Verizon Wireless competitors. As for the Singlerate National plans they are still there and you can still get Singlerate Regional plans.

Hi Apoc, I'm not sure why you would even compare the too....? If Sprint PCS was to acquire as many(large) companies as Verizon did... they would be just as big, and another thing...unfortunalety alot of Verizons coverage is still analog in alot of areas. Beleive me when I tell you, I'm not a big fan of Sprint's..but, I have to give them credit where cedit is deserved, they had alot of "balls" to build their own network and I realize that they have some problems to work out...but it can only get bigger and better. Apoc- Do you work for Verizon? Is there any way that I can keep my 250 local mobile to mobile minutes and change to the America's Choice? I now have the SR West 300/3200 plan

If you look at the Verizon Moblie to Moblie map for it's new plans that will show you it digital service areas. Look almost the same as sprint service.
