You'll see a posting (with 14 responses) listed as: "Verizon Sprint Merger?"

It made for some interesting reading. To me, right now it seems like more of an intellectual debate than it does fact, but still, its worth reading if you are an industry watcher.

Here is a <u>Wireless Week</u> news article which refered to Sprint as "a known acquisition candidate"

Ever since the failed Worldcom-Sprint merger, Sprint has been considered an acquistion target.
