My contract is up and I have been using ATT TDMA (v60 Phone) for last 1 year. Service has been marginal. Many dropped calls etc. I had Sprint before that for 2 years and It hought they had better service. Anyway I am thinking about ATT GSM service. Anyone has nay idea if it has improved enough that you can make call while you are at home.

I have a company discount program so I am more inclined to stay with ATT for right now.
Any suggestions ?? also if there is a phone that works good with ATT GSM service

I am in Sunnyvale, CA

I have heard of dead spots for ATT gsm around Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Redwood City, Santa Clara. T-Mob/Cingular In my humble opinion is a better alternative for GSM. Other than that, Verizon and Sprint are good alternatives in your neck of the woods.
