I'm wondering how is ATT's GSM service in the SF Bay Area particularly the Richmond and Sunset district in San Francisco. How is it compared to T-Mobile's?

I have no clue about AT&T, but I guess that your best bet would be to get an AT&T Wireless phone and try it out in the areas you are visiting most often...if it works good, keep it, if it doesn't, return it. | |
