Convinced that a cell phone antenna poses no hazard, the Rohnert Park City Council on Tuesday rejected an appeal by residents intent on keeping one out of their neighborhood park.

Well the interesting thing is that they cannot include health arguments in their approval process. If it meets the FCC's requirements that is all they can consider per the FCC. Often they seem to wiggle around the topic by saying the tower is not fitting for it's surroundings but in actuality they are trying not to piss off their citizens who have the health concerns/paranoia.
