I currently have verizon wireless and loving the service. No billing problems or anything, but i dont like the phones they have. I love the phones that Sprint has. I was wondering....how is the sprint service in corona, california and overall riverside county? is sprint good or is verizon the best? i need help because i reall y want sprint but scared that it wont work..and i dont want to go return it after 14 days and get that hassle again. so please help.

I believe I talked to Shelveen about this on Sprintusers.com. I am very familar with coverage in Corona as I've watched a number of new cell sites go up in the past 2 years there. I've driven all over the city and made a note of all of the towers I've found (and I'm very good at spotting them even when disguised). Sprint actually has more towers in Corona than any other carrier. Cingular/T-Mobile is second and Verizon appears to be third. The carrier with the most towers doesn't necessarily have the best coverage though as Verizon's towers could be taller and cover more area. So it's hard to say. Shelveen, in your case you seem to be in the worst part of Corona (coverage wise) from Sprint. You seem to live in the only area that's lacking a tower. But I still think you would get sufficient coverage from the recently installed tower at River Rd./Hellman. I was able to see it in debug mode for 2 or 3 miles. But of course YMMV and it might not be enough. |

the t720 just sucks now...im going to sprint pcs when my contract is over, and at the same time their sanyo 5600 will come out. so ill be happy with that. but im just scared about the service of sprint. people say its good in my area...and larry said its good also. but t720 was not worth the $425. i got it the day it came out wiht verizon..i was first inline before teh store opened to get the first colored phone. it cost me $425 becuase i didnt resign the contract. it sucks.
