Can you please explain to me what is the difference between unlocking and flashing. I have a kyocera 5135 phone that is on a different network than the one i wanted to use. I like to make it work for my network. Also how do i go about in obtaining equipment to flash cdma phones such as the kyocera 5135. Thanx.

Unlocking is removing a restriction to use the phone with another carrier's SIM card.

Flashing is updating the software that runs in the phone.
