Employees normally get unlimited voice and/or data calls, however they have to purchase their own phones at full retail price. That's why you see employees purchase their phones on Ebay or some other inexpensive mean.

It depends on the carrier's sense of generousity, and/or their interest in employee familiarity with the carrier's products. For example, the notoriously stingy Sprint PCS offers their employees a less generous discount than they do to some of their customers (e.g. large corporate accounts).

I work for Verizon and it the plans are not that great, but they are alot better than anyone else can get. We do not get unlimted voice minutes, but we do get free web, txt, voicegear, and im sure picture messaging and ptt when they are available.

I had a friend that was selling SprintPCS. He had a plan for 750 minutes for $15.00. No night or weekend minutes. I'm not sure if long distance was included.

I work for Verizon (for another month) I get for 25 dollars a month: 1000 Anytime, unlimited N & W, 1st incoming minute free, unlimited M2M, Unlimited TXT, Web, Voice Gear. Anything else is extra... I pay the 2 year contract price for phones, and sign a 1 yr commitment term.... Not really all that great for putting up with the customers. |

Yes Dallison, they make you sign a contract, and guess what? they even do a credit check!!! just like normal customers! (VZW) ohh you dont have good credit? well then youre bound to shell out 400 bucks as a deposit for their service, ohh you dont have 400 bucks? FREE UP <gags> is your next option ^_^ no exceptions. same rules apply to you as those to the public, and if you stop being a VZW employee or whatever other carrier, then your account becomes a regular account

I already had service at VZW before I worked there so they just converted my account.. I recently upgraded my phone and I read closely and there was nothing about a contract. The only stipulation was I could only upgrade every 12 months. I've never heard of VZW doing credit checks on employees either.
